About

Sharanam Anandama plays music that is a cross cultural experience. He calls his musical transmission “Rhythm and Bliss”, a flowing style based on Raga style music from India which played on the the American folk instrument the Mountain Dulcimer. His main instrument, named Oceana, is a Queen among dulcimers designed by the Great Goddess as channeled by Sharanam and built to a World Class standard in 1977 in nearly a 40 year relationship now, the instrument and the player have become one the sounds are sweetly harmonious, fluid, and soaring, and truly unique. Accompanied by the Indian Tanpura this music is ideal, for Meditation, Kirtan, Yoga practices, and free flowing dance movement. Namaste!
